About this course
The purpose of this course is to familiarize you in details with construction peculiarities and specificity of operation and maintenance for Screw Compressors, that are widely installed on board and used like service/control air compressors. The course is based on accumulated experience and supplemented by drawings, photo and video materials from board of modern vessel, that are equipped by this type of compressor. It given recommendations, interrelated with operation and maintenance of service compressor, as well as observed signals of alarm monitoring system and troubles, that can be occurred during the operation.
It described in details the questions, that can be faced by Engineers, during the interview with Technical Superintendent or representative of the company.
This course is issued for Engineers, who start their career on board of modern vessels, as well as for Engineers, who have worked on board, but have some gaps in knowledges, interconnected with air dryers.
